How does ozonated water disinfection work?

Ozonated water disinfection uses ozone (O3) to eliminate bacteria, viruses and other harmful organisms from objects and surfaces. Ozone is a naturally occurring gas composed of three oxygen atoms (O), which is a powerful oxidizing agent capable of destroying organic molecules.
