DT-Solution, an Avignon-based start-up specializing in the creation and design of UV-C solutions solutions, is launching the first ecological disinfection robot Made in France.
Since 2020, DT Solution has placed health, economic and environmental issues at the heart of its innovations.
The latest, dubbed "Nanobot", democratizes and simplifies the use of remote UV-C technology, while combating the massive use of chemical detergents and disinfectants.
The UVC disinfection robot disinfection robot combines UV-C technology with automated robotics.
Equipped with on-board cameras, a 3D volume and object scanner, a distance calculator and a motion detector, the robot is fully remote-controllable via smartphone. Users can program it in advance and activate a disinfection protocol specially adapted to their space, with the greatest of ease.
"In a hospital, for example, it takes 1 h 30 to clean a Covid patient room in the traditional way. Despite the use of chemical detergents, the effectiveness of this disinfection is close to 50%. That's a tall order, considering the risks to human health and the environment, as well as the time and money involved. In contrast, the Nanobot can do it in 30 minutes, and is 99.99% effective against over a hundred viruses and bacteria, including SARS-CoV-2 and nosocomial diseases. All without chemicals, residues or consumables. This saves considerable time and money for this type of structure. Ultimately, the robot makes it possible to fight chemicals effectively! " explains Adam Jelila, Managing Director of DT-Solution.
Composed of 94% recyclable and sustainable technologies, 5 minutes of disinfection can replace the use of 27,000 liters of chemical detergents per 25 m² room. This solution also generates massive savings in water, costs and personnel, and eliminates the risk of exposure to chemicals.
While most robots sold in North America, mainly for hospital use, are worth over €100,000, the start-up plans to market the first version of its autonomous robot at under €10,000 from January 2022.
